Vince Zampella, a Gaming Pioneer, Dies in an LA Vehicle Accident

The co-creator of Call of Duty, renowned for co-creating the immensely successful first-person shooter Call of Duty, has passed away in a car accident in the state of California at the age of 55.

His passing was announced by Electronic Arts, which owns Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The renowned game designer lost his life when his vehicle was involved in a crash and burst into flames on a motorway in LA on this past Sunday, according to.

"This is a devastating loss, and our deepest sympathies go to Vince's loved ones, his loved ones, and the countless individuals inspired by his legacy," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts stated.
